Divers Uni Vers is a company that explores the natural and cultural heritage of Sète and the Bassin de Thau. It is managed by Marine Larderet. As a tour guide, she offers a range of guided, commented and interactive tours for local tourism and leisure, whether sustainable, local, cultural or ecological.
It's a cross-disciplinary approach, which includes a variety of perspectives: socio-cultural, environmental, geographical, historical, legendary, etc. Marine likes to pass on her knowledge of the region through, among other things, environmental education. The outings explore, through time and space, areas of interest and themes linked to Sète and the Thau Basin. The guide tells and tells. Marine is passionate and fascinating.
Everything is done on foot, in small groups, in a limited area, so as to get the most out of the area.
There are adult and children's versions of each tour.

Below are the guided tours offered by Divers Uni Vers, in Sète, Frontignan and Balaruc-les-Bains, with summer 2025 timetables:
> Sète Culture
1. Quartier Haut (1h30): Mondays, 5pm to 6.30pm.
- Adult version: "Historic and Artistic Place".
Let's explore Sète's first district, from its creation to the present day. This long district is dotted with works of art and rich in anecdotes. The Quartier Haut is steeped in history and art!
- Children's version: "Artists of Sète".
A first approach to art. We discover artists in their various disciplines (music, theater, poetry, painting, graffiti, etc.), accompanied by a character from a children's book.
2. Sète port city (1h30) : Tuesdays, 5 pm to 6:30 pm.
- Adult version: "Conquering the Sea".
Sète is a major port city. We'll discover the history of its 4 ports, exploring its great moments of prosperity. The world of the sea and ports is the very basis of Sète?s identity.
- Children?s version: "Funny boats".
From the quayside, discover the different types of boats. Their shapes give clues to their functions. Each sailor will leave with his or her own little boat.
3. Origins and Characters of Sète (1h30) : Thursdays and Sundays, 5 pm to 6:30 pm.
- Adult version: "Brassens, P. Valéry, J. Vilar, Figuration libre, ...".
We'll look at the creation and evolution of the port city of Sète. We'll also discover Sète artists. Through the lives of its characters and the story of its great moments of prosperity, Sète inspires.
- Children's version: "Artists and Sailors of Sète".
We discover artists of all kinds (music, theater, poetry, painting, etc.), accompanied by a character from a children?s book. Plus, from a panoramic vantage point, we'll observe marine activity.
4. Street-Art Rue de Tunis (1h10) : Wednesdays and Fridays, 5 pm to 6:10 pm.
- Adult version: "Street art".
Welcome to this charming and captivating street, one of Sète's hotspots for street art. You won't know where to turn! We'll identify the street-artists and references to Sète's world.
- Children's version: "A well-colored street".
Children take part in a photo rally-style treasure hunt on a colorful street. Free: The book of a Sète legend, which will be told to you. > 10 euros per person.

5. Quais Canaux and its animals (1h30) : Sundays, 9:30 am to 11 am.
- Adult version: "Little Venice and Sea Animals".
On foot, from the quays, we observe the canals, these waterways where boats and marine species pass in mirror image. Come and discover biodiversity with Marine, an enthusiast!
- Children's version: "The animals of the waterways".
While observing water animals, we'll discover their "superpowers". We'll even be lucky enough to see a large mother-of-pearl. This is its last refuge!
6. Thau Lagoon (1h30): Thursdays, 9:30am to 11am.
- Adult version: "Lien Homme-Etang de Thau - Quartier Pointe Courte et Longue -".
Conditions are favorable for the survival of many species, including man. Pointe Courte is a typical fishing district. At Pointe Longue, the lagoon is studied and enhanced.
- Children?s version: "Natural exploration".
We zoom in on emblematic species. As they go along, children will illustrate their map of the area, using colors and symbols to represent the area.
7. With the Sea (1h30): Wednesdays, 9:30am to 11am.
- Adult version: "Strong ties".
The island of Sète has become a peninsula, between sea and land. Our salty explorations highlight the links with the marine world. On the beach, we'll identify the debris left behind by the sea.
- Children's version: "Beach, Shellfish and Crustaceans".
By collecting what the sea leaves on the beach, we rediscover marine life. Thanks to quizzes, little explorers of the sea can test their knowledge and learn while having fun.
8. Mont Saint Clair (1h30) : Tuesdays and Fridays, 9:30am to 11am.
- Adult version: "Ascension and Panorama".
Legends and stories surround this singular form. During our tour, we'll be amazed by the exceptional panoramic views of the surrounding area, from the Thau Basin to the Mediterranean Sea.
- Children's version: "Climbing the hill - true stories and legends".
I further develop the legends, stories and anecdotes linked to gods and pirates.

9. Visits to Frontignan-Plage (1h30): Mondays, 9:30am to 11am.
- Adult version: "Mer veille, milieu vivant".
A nature outing between the sea and salt flats, where you'll be amazed by the beach and shellfish, salt meadows and migratory birds such as pink flamingos. We'll also gain a better understanding of coastal erosion.
- Children's version: "Beach and Birds".
By collecting what the sea leaves on the beach, we rediscover marine life. Behind the beach, in the salt meadows, equipped with binoculars, we'll try to observe pink flamingos and other birds.
10. Visits to Balaruc-les-Bains (1h30): Saturdays, 9:30am to 11am.
- Adult version only: "Thermal History and Mythology".
France?s leading spa and its "miraculous" hot springs are full of surprises! From time immemorial, man has benefited from it: mythological heroes, Romans, curists!

11. Treasure hunt in Sète (1h30): booking required.
- Children's version only: "In search of pirate treasure".
Challenge: Find the clues and pass the tests to finally find the pirate Barberoussette's treasure. Condition: 4 children minimum, accompanied by an adult, ready to climb the hill.

Marine, the guide :
Marine, the guide, brings a better knowledge of our territory and our world, essential to better consider them. Participants are passionate about discovering the land and its biodiversity. Marine is also a talented storyteller. You'll appreciate her tales of legends, myths and poems. She has been guiding and accompanying people for many years, both in Sète and before that in Amazonia.
Marine also works in various elementary school in Sète, as an activity leader
Accueil Loisir Périscolaire. Her activities are based on environmental education. One of her objectives is to acquire ever more knowledge, skills and know-how to interact more effectively with children on environmental and cultural themes. The majority of visits during the school vacations are family outings, with children?s versions to delight young and old alike.
