It's the pride of Sète. From its summit, it offers lovely views across the sea and coastline as well as across the lagoons and ‘garrigue’ (typical scented shrubland of the south). The plunging view from this natural viewing point down to the town is quite striking. At the other end of the hill, the Forêt Domaniale des Pierres Blanches, (state-owned ‘Forest of White Stones’) is ideal for walkers. Explore the Saint-Clair trails on foot, and meander around local villas and traditional cabins, enjoying amazing views at every turn.
