Sète in the cinema
The unique light of Sète captivated the world of cinema very early on. Between 1937 with Jean Gabin in Julien Duvivier's "Pépé le Moko" and 2016 with Catherine Deneuve and Diane Kruger in Thierry Klifa's "Tout nous sépare", more than 60 feature films have been shot here.
Lino Ventura, Brigitte Bardot, Philippe Noiret, Alain Delon, Yves Montand, Romy Schneider, Samy Fray, Gérard Depardieu, Nathalie Baye, Audrey Tautou, Catherine Frot, Richard Berry, Patrick Bruel, Richard Anconina... are among the impressive list of actors who have come to Sète.
Here is a montage film of more than 30 extracts from films shot in Sète. LR-Occitanie Cinéma was responsible for the artistic direction of this project, which was financed by the Sète Tourist Office.
