Villages to discover.
Balaruc-le-Vieux, Poussan, Gigean, Loupian and Montbazin... these villages, built in the typically Languedoc 'circulade' style, offer a remarkable historical heritage, from Roman villas to medieval abbeys and churches, as well as examples of the traditional architectural style of the wine-growing region.

A protected natural environment.
Between the sea and the hills lies a natural heritage of lagoons, sheer limestone ridges, and the robust vegetation of the garrigue scrubland. From the top of Gardiole mountain, you can look down on the de Thau and  Vic lagoons, a paradise for birdlife and biodiversity.
