Festivities and traditions

Our traditions are still firmly anchored in the hearts of the people of Sète, and find their expression in the festivals:

The Feast of Saint Pierre, a fishermen’s festival with a procession of gaily decorated boats, and the Feast of Saint Louis, patron saint of the town, whose celebrations carry on for several days non-stop in the Cadre Royal square and also in other streets and squares, where visitors mingle with Sète’s locals, both current residents and expats who never miss these colourful events.
